DESPERATE STRIKE RIOT.
(By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) Charleston, West Virginia, Feb. 11. Five are dead and a score wounded as the result of a battle between strike-breakers and the authorities of the Kenawha Coal Area Companies. The militia fired on the strikers. Wholesale rioting was followed by a regular pitched battle.
