TWO SUDDEN DEATHS.
(Hawera Star.) Mr William Brock, aged 62, of Te Roti, was. found dead in a creek at Te Roti, ai about half-past ten on Sunday. Deceased was last seen alive by Mr E. A. Laurent at about 8.30 o’clock, when he was on his way home. To reach home he had to cross a small creek on a plank and it was here he fell in. The water there was only about 15 inches deep, and deceased who had complained of his heart while at Laurent’s, had recently been under medical care in Hawera. The cause of death has been certified to as heart disease, and no inquest will bo held. The medical opinion is that death had occurred as deceased fell from the plank, as when found his head was resting on al log out of water. Mr Alexander Oliver, about 50 vears of age, a well-known farmer of Ohangai, died suddenly at his residence at about 8 o’clock on Sunday evening. Deceased was apparently in his ordinary health, and had been in Hawera on the preceding Saturday, but on Sunday collapsed suddenly while in the kitchen with the-rest of the family, and died a few minutes later. Death is supposed to have been due fo heart disease.
