CAPTAIN COOK MEMORIAL.

UNVEILING CEREMONY. (Per Press Association.) Blenheim, February 11. A great amount of public interest is being evinced in the unveiling of the Captain Cook monument at Ship Cove to-day. The ceremony took place in the presence of a large concourse of people, wholly representative of Marlborough, while, a large number "f excursionists were present from Wellington. The function was performed by the Governor, and other speakers were the Hon. F. M. B. Fisher, the Hon. F. H. D. Bell, Messrs R. McNab, John Duncan (chairman memorial committee), and R. McCallum (M.P. for Wairau). The Vice-Regal party landed from the Tutanekai. An excursion steamer ran from Wellington and Picton. The'Amokura is in the Cove, the boys haoing assisted in the arrangements. Fine weather prevailed.
