STRATFORD CLUB’S CHAMPIONSHIPS. The Stratford Lawn Tennis Club (Incorporated) is holding its annual championships this month. Entries exceed those of previous years, and there is every likelihood of keen contests. The following are the entries and the results of the drawings Ladies’ Championship. First Round.—Mrs Budge plays Miss' Wilson; Mrs Robinson plays Miss Mackey. Second Round.—Mrs Paget plays Miss D. Mackay. Men’s Championship. First Round.—Fussell plays C. Wright, Jones plays Crawshaw, Anderson plays Cameron, Thompson plays Abraham, Rutherfurd plays Wilson, P. Wright plays Marshall. oSecond Round.—Curtis plays Vaughan: vr": It has been decided to play the firs t round by 15th February, the second round by 16th February, the third ‘found by the 25th, and the final before the 28th of this month. Players are requested to record their wins on the score sheet placed in the club’s pavilion for that purpose, or else to notify the Secretary. Coming Events. The A. and B. teams are meeting the New Plymouth and St. Andrew’s clubs respectively, on the 20th inst.
