WIRELESS.

THE MARCONI CONTRACT. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) London, February 6. The Hon. Mr Samuel, PostmasterGeneral, has written to the Marconi Company that the delay is very regrettable, bub the contract provides for the House of Commons’ approval; consequently there is no adequate reason for releasing the company from their obligations. THE CHATHAMS STATION. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, February 6. The Postmaster-General states that the work in preparation for the erection of a wireless station at the Chathams is now well forward. As soon as the material is ready it will be shipped to the Islands, and the station should be in position at an early date. A site has already been surveyed.
