The Government Meteorologist (Hev. D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows The indications are for northerly winds moderate to strong prevailing and freshening. Expect warm and humid conditions ; increasing haze and cloudiness; change following; barometer little movement, but falling after 24 hours.
