Last week I held my usual weekly sale when a very good entry of produce, etc., were submitted for sale. 1 quote: Chicks 8d to Is each, cockerels (small)'7d to Is,, others Is to Is 9d, hens Is 3d to Is Bd, geese 3s 6d, turkeys (very small) 3s 9d to 4s; potatoes 9s per cwt, vegetables and furniture at usual auction rates.
