Brisbane, January 91

A double railway accident occurred near Murphy’s Creek. A cattle train was derailed and the line was blocked for ten chains. While a break-down gang was clearing the wreckage a train of empty cars ran into the debris. Five workmen—F. Freese, .Ti mes Little, G. J. McCarthy, Charles McGregor, Walter Claydon—were killed and five injured, two seriously.
