EXPERIENCE WITH A MOTOR BOAT. (Per Press Association.) » Christchurch, January 28. A man named Rowlands was crossing the Sumner Estuary in a motor boat to-day, when the boat was swamped and sank. Rowlands remained afloat by the help of a cork cushion, and got into the breakers, but finally he was rescued by the Sumner life boat.
