WESTLAND GOLD JUBILEE.
(Per Press Association.) Hokitika, January 28. The Westland Racing Club has resolved upon extensive improvements and alterations to the racecourse, involving an expense of £ISOO, with most of the conveniences being improved and better totalisator facilities, also to be provided. The works are to bo completed for January next, when the Westland Goldfields Jubilee will be celebrated, and to mark that event the Club proposes giving a Jubilee Cup worth 200 sovs.
