Rain interfered with play twice during the afternoon, an hour’s adjournment being taken on one occasion. At 4.45 it was decided to abandon play for the day, the score standing at 91 for four wickets (Wilson 19, McGill 23). At 4.30 it was decided to abandon play for the day. The score then stood, Wellington four for 91 ((Wilson 19, Blamires not out 36, McGill 23). The match will be resumed to-morrow. The World’s Best.
