WIRELESS LINKING-UP

France proposes to establish a wireless station at Noumea, linking China, South Africa and South America, and also with a view to uniting all the French possessions in the world. The station at Tahiti will connect with Martinique, with the Marquesas as an intermediary.
A DROWNING FATALITY
Sydney, January 20
Three brothers named Cunningham, eighteen to twenty-seven years old, were bathing at Goombargana. James got into difficulties and Alfred tried to assist him. Both were drowned. Charles, in an effort to help, was onl\ aide to save himself. None were good swimmers. VIA WIRELESS. A scheme for linking-up German New Guinea with Hongkong and' Australia by wireless is in progress.
