The Canterbury v. South Melbourne match was resumed on Saturday. Beautiful weather prevailed. Orchard replaced Hickmott in the Canterbury team, and Canterbury continued their innings, which lasted four hours and ten'minutes, the score being 384, of which D. Reese contributed 130. Melbourne, in their second innings, lost four for 174, T. Purvis contributing 81.
