LONDON’S DISFRANCHISEMENT.

The large provincial centres are actively joining in London’s agitation against the City’s disfranchisement. Almost all the members of the City Corporation are ineligible if the amendment is adopted, as under the 1819 Act City Council candiatos are bound to appear on the Parliamentary register.
