Rotorua, January 13
The Hon. W. Fraser to-day received local deputations from both the Chamber of Commerce and the County Council, which urged the construction of a railway from Rotorua to Paengaroa, to connect with the East Coast railway. The Minister realised the advantages of the line, but said that no money was available. Works now under construction must be completed before new ones were started. The Hon. W. H.
