Application that Failed.

London, January 4

An application for the position of nurse in Cork was read before, the Committee of Guardians.

The applicant declared:—“l am fully qualified, having two uncles and one cousin on the board. One uncle is an ‘All-for-lreland’ and the other is a ‘Molly Maguire.’ ” The application was regretfully rejected.
