The hospital surgeon, Dr. Jacob, testified that he lent Dr. Clark the “Prin ciples of Forensic Medicine,” a book afterwards found with passages underlined relating to chronic arsenical poisoning.

The police superintendent, Williamson, said that he found in Mrs. Fulham’s box an envelope containing arsenic powder.
