PRISONERS SENTENCED.
AT WELLINGTON SESSIONS
(Per Press Association.) \ Wellington, January 13
The Chief Justice to-day sentenced William P. Willson, who was employed in the Public Works Department, at Stratford, to twelve months’ imprisonment, with, hard labour, on charges of forgery. On one charge of forgery and uttering, John Sweeney, who had been previously convicted, was also sentenced to twelve months.
Thomas O’Brien, an old man, was sentenced to nine mpnths’ imprisonment with hard labour on a charge of theft at Wanganui. James Mclntosh, on ’ a similar charge, was sentenced to nine monins’ imprisonment and declared an habitual criminal.
