A COLD-BLOODED MURDER
YOtING MAN SHOOTS WOMAN
COOLLY RELATES THE CRIME.
(Received 9.20 a.m.) Sydney, January 12
A shocking tragedy occurred at Coprnanhurst. Mrs. Lloyd, wife of a farmer, admonished an ex-Stato boy named Lindsay, 20 years of age, whereupon he shot her dead.
The murder occurred when the woman was going milking at four o’clock in the morning. Lindsay dragged the body to the house; then wrote to his sister, who was living in Sydney:— “Just shot Mrs. Lloyd dead. Pray God to forgive me.” Lindsay then went to a neighbour’s house and related the occurrence.' He was en route to surrender to the police when he was arrested.
