WHAN G AMOM ON A COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER MAKING RATE. MAKAHU-MANGAEHU LOAN OF £3BO (BEING 10 PER CENT. ON ORIGINAL LOAN OF £3800). TN pursuance and exercise of the jj. powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1008.” and “The N.Z. State Guaranteed Advances Act, 1000,” and Amendments, the Whangaraoinona County Council hereby resolves as follows: That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3BO, authorised to he raised by the Whangamomona County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for deviw ating the Brower and Eirai " Roads, constructing a tunnel under the Brewer Road Saddle, re-forming and metalling the Brewer, iyirai, Makahu, and Mangaehu Roads from Strathmore through the tunnel to a point three miles east of. the Makahu Dairy Factory, and reforming and metalling a .quarter of a mile er/ch of the Makh.hu, Tapuni, and Murcotl Howls, and O’Connor’s tipuß, such , vpf/yrrning and metalling to commence in each case from the main road (from Strathmore as defined above, the said Whangamomona County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths of a penny (fjd) in the Pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the M/ikahu, Mpngaenu, Brewer, Ivirai, and other reacts, Special Rating Area comprising Section 1 ; 12 of "Block XIV. ; Sections 1 to 9 inclusive, 16, 17, 18, 28, 29, 31, apd 31, of Block XV., Sections 1 to 6 inclusive, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, eastern half of 7, and the northern half of J 4, of Block XVI.; all Blocks being in the Ngatimaru Survey District; Sections 1, 17, 18, 49, 50, 51, 52, 86 to 90 inclusive, 94 to 99 inclusive, 101, 102, 103 and 134, of Strathmore Township; Sub. lb, sub Ic, the western half of sub la; and the western 1000 acres of , sub 2b, Pahautuhia Block; sub 13, the southern 1000 acres of sub 9, the southern half of sub 12, the southern 750 acres of sub 15, the southern 1200 acres of sub 16, and the western half of sub 17, Pohokura Block, and that such special rate shall bo an annual recurring rate during the currency of suck loan, and be payable halfyearly on the first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years or until the loan is fully paid off.
