RAILWAY RETURNS.

AT THE STRATFORD STATION. An interesting statement of the traffic of the local railway station and a comparison with last year, is/'lurnished in a list of figures kindly supplied by Mr J. B. Campbell, the stationmaster. For the four-weekly period, ending January 4th, 1913, there was an increase in the total revenue over a similar period last year of £217 12s, the respective totals being £2531 6s lid and £2313 14s lid. Revenue derived from outward traffic was £1731 13s lid, and from inward traffic £799 13s, the figures for last year being respectively £llBO Is and £853 13s lid.
