FIRES.
MINE PLANT DESTROYED. (Per Press Association.) Auckland. January 8. The whole of the battery and ore treating plant of the Westralia Goldmining Company was destroyed by tire at Wairnngomai last night. The bridge was also burned. The plant was worth about £2OOO. The origin of the fire is a mystery. The insurances are not available.
