AUSTRALIAN POLITICS.
THE BLAYNEY SEAT. Sydney, January 7. When the Labour candidate for Blayney was outvoted, Mr. McGowen appealed to Labourites to support Mr Beeby at the second ballot. A conference of the Australian Workers’ Union adopted a resolution protesting again Ministers supporting Mr. Beeby, declaring that the best interests of labour would he served by the defeat of Mr. Beeby.
