MINISTERS ON THE MOVE.
(Per Press Association. > Thames, ■ January j 7. In reply to a deputation who wantoil a railway across the Hauraki Plains, the Hon. Mr. Piv.sor (Minister of Public Works) said the flying surveys of railways already promised will keep officers employed for years. In reply to another deputation the Minister said he intended introducing an amendment to the Mining Act next session.
