TARIFF REFORM.
A UNIONIST CONFERENCE. London, January 3. At an informal conference between Mr Bonar Law and the Lancashire Unionists, the latter emphatically op posed the inclusion of food taxes in the programme. Mr Bonar Law promised to carefully consider the views of the Unionists. Groups representing the agricultural divisions also met and decided to urge the elimination of the food taxes.
