KILLED ON A BRIDGE

Blenheim, January 3. A fatality occurred yesterday at the 'Colden Bar claim at Waimar.ina, r man named Patrick McMannon being killed while working on the tramway bridge putting in a stringer. The stringer slipped off and the cap struck deceased on the head and shoulder. He died three minutes later. Deceased was a single man and came from Chicago a. fortnight ago.
