Victoria in their second innings scored 137 for the loss of four wickets and thus won by six wickets. The principal scorers were Baring 42, Seitz, (not out) 35, Brown (not out) 21. SOUTH MELBOURNE v. WELLINGTON. Wellington, December 29. The cricket match South Melbourne v. Wellington resulted in a win for the visitors by 32 runs. The visitors’ second innings totalled 112, of which Deas made 26, Giller 17, iM‘Cormack 16, and Kelly .10 (not out). Robinson took six wickets for 41, and Fenton two for 23. Wellington, wanting 117 to win, collapsed, and could only total 84, though there was nothing difficult in the bowling.
