ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
A CHILD’S -DEATH. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, December 23. Margaret Hill, aged .8, was found dead in the gutter near a residence at Birkenhead. Death is suppec; d to have resulted from shock caused by a fall. Fron the 20th to the end of Decernher a big Xmas bonus of 2s to 4s in the £ discount is to lie given to every cash buyer at Mr A. Spence’s store. All departments at this establishment arc now replete with new goods for the Xmas Season, and such a liberal discount off the prices, .which are well known to be bedrock at all times, should attract big business.
