FIRES.

A DWELLING DESTROYED. (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, December 15. About noon on Friday a house property owned by F. Baker, between Southbrook and Flaxton, was destroyed by fire. It bad lately been sold to Flynn, and his furniture and effects were almost all burned. The building was insured for £3OU with the Northern Company, and the furniture for £lO with another company.
