H ALE-YEARLY MEET ING
The half-yearly meeting of the Stratford Druids was held in the Foresters’ Hall last evening, when visitors from New, Plymouth, Eltham, and Otaki were present. The balance sheet and auditors’ report showed an exceedingly satisfactory half-year’s operation®, though sick pay had been large, owing to the prevalence of various maladies. The installation ceremonies were admirably conducted by tiro. S. King, P.D.P., and the following officers were duly installed:—Arch Druid, Bro. M. C. Aagaard; Y.A., Bro. T. J. Ladd; secretary, Bro. C. G. Runidle (re-elected); treasurer, Bro. H. Burmester (re-elected); 1.G., Bro. J. J. East; 0.G., Bro. G. W. Mills; A.D.B.’s, Bros. H. Areda and J. H. Sharrock; V.A. 15.’s, Bros. J. Bowen and Clem Johnston. An excellent supper was provided, a long toast-list being gone through, and songs and musical items being rendered. A pleasant half-yearly re-union closed at 11.30 p.m.
