(Received 11, 9.25 a.m.) London, December 10. The American couper stock is estimated at £86,164,000. The estimates for the 1913 crop give the American winter wheat at 466,373,000 bushels. LONDON MARKETS. London, December 10. Wheat.—Cargoes to hand are dull, and there is little or no bidding; 36s 9d is asked for January and February and 36s 6d for March and April. HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. Wellington, December 11. The High Commissioner cables under date London, December 10th as follows: Quotations unless otherwise specified are average! market prices on spot. Eggs.—The market is dull with a downward tendency. Prices, per 120 Home 16s to 18s. Italian 12s 3d to 13t 6d, Danish 12s 6d to 16s Gd, French 14s to 16s, Hungarian 9s to 11s 6d, Russian 9s 3d to 11s, Dutch 14s to 16s, Moroccan 8s 6d to 9s.
Poultry.—The market is steady w:th a very good demand and prices firm. Chickens, Home l()d to Is, Russian lOd, ducklings, Home 8d to 9d, Russian 7jd; turkeys, Home 9d to lid, French 9d to 10d. Bacon.—The market is quiet but steady and it is expected there will be an increase in the demand for Christmas requirements. Irish 62s to 70s. Danish 60s to 71s, Russian 54s to 625. Canadian 60s to 675, Swedish (ils to 675. Hams. —The market is steady and prices are well maintained with fair demand. Irish 90s to 116 s, English 92s to 112 s.
