The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., advertise particulars oi their Eltham sale, which takes place on Wednesday next. At the Hawera sale yards on Thursday next the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. will sell 400 head of mixed cattle. Elsewhere in our columns Messrs. Matthews, Bennett and Co. notify their Inglewood horse fair.

Mr. Newton King advertises his Stratford horse bazaar sale, which will be held next Saturday. The last of the Oddfellows’ euclm Sarties takes place in the Foresters' tall on Monday evening. A reward is offered for the return of a handbag containing money. Divine worship will tie conducted morning and evening in the Broadway Church to-morrow by the Rev. B. Metsoui In the morning a communion address will he delivered, and in ■ the evening there will lie an evangelistic service. All welcome. x The first of tho season’s calendars came to hand to-day. It is a remarkably handsome piece of work, and tho “Holiday Echoes” by Lawson Woods are really excellent. Mr. D. Bntchart, the well-known Stratford tailor, is the publisher. A young girl is wanted to assist with house work.
