IN THE COURTS.
o (Per Press Association.) Auckland, November 30. At the Supreme Court Edward Rabiiitts, alias Roberts, was charged that he wilfully made a false declaration in regard to his name under the Marriage Act. The jury returned a verdict of guilty. His Honor commented upon the seriousness of the offence, but said that under the circumstances the case would .be met by a tine of £2O, with an alternative of two months’ imprisonment.
