FIRES.
(Tor Press Association.) Invercargill, November 21. A lire occurred in Johnson’s foundry earlv this morning, this being the second outbreak there within three weeks. The principal office was gutted, Imd two other rooms damaged. Insurances are not yet ascertainable. OUTBREAK IN WELtINGTON. Wellington, November 21. Rolf and Avison’s grocery store in Cuba Street was considerably dam ago:] by a lire which broke out in the storeroom. The latter was destroyed, and the rest of the premises suffered by the heat and smoke. The insurances are stated to be £1 100. Burgess’s dental moms, in the building, were sl'gbtly damaged. The insurances are £2o,'). Rats are believed to bo the cause.
