LONDON MARKETSy London, November 23. Wheat.-—The market is easier on the strength of'‘finer weather, Argentina pressure, and the sales in Russia—*' 3Gs 9d is asked for Australian' Febru-ary-March and 37s for January-Febru-U Wool. —At the Antwerp sales there was good competition, and an all round advance, rnerinoes were from 5 to 71 per centum and crossbreds 8 to 1U per centum; 1717 bales of La Plata' were offered and 1444 sold. Hemp.—The market is dull. For January-March shipments £32 10s is quoted. Copra.—Market quiet. South Sea bags £25 10s. Jltuboer, 4s 4^d. LONDON WOOL SALES, 1913. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., has received-the following cablegram from the London office:— At a meeting of the Committee of the Colonial Wool Merchants.’ Association held on Bth October, the dates of commencement of the sales for 1913 were fixed as follows, there being no limit to the first series:—lst series, 14th J anuary; 2nd series, 4th March; 3rd scries, 22nd April ; 4th series, Ist July; oth series, 23rd September; GtJi series, 25th November. The list ol available fresh arrivals, as usual, to be closed eight days prior to-thc opening date of each series, unless the “limit” be previously reached.
