LATE FATHER VENNING.

o (Per Press Association.) Wellingon, November 23

lAt the inquest on the body of the late Rev. Father Venning, who met with a fatal accident on Thursday night, evidence was given that deceased was found at the entrance of Guilford Terrace close to the Basilica with one foot entangled in his motor cycle. He had evidently tried to negotiate the corner and run into a post. The skull was fractured anil the brain injured, and he was also suffering from -shock. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
