COAL MINER KILLED

(Per Press Association.) Greymouth, November 12. William Eliis, 29 years of ago, was crushed between a truck and some coal at the Paparoa Mine. He died from his injuries last night, A FATAL TRAP ACCIDENT. Auckland, November 12. While driving from Waingaro Springs to bis homo at Te Kowhai, Mark Barton, a widower, aged 42, was fatally injured. His horse bolted, and three occupants of the trap were thrown out. Barton was apparently dragged along the ground, sustaining injuries to his face and head. He died to-day.
