The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed tins afternoon as follows: The' indications are for variable am moderate breezes. Southerly wind; to strong and backing by south to west and freshening. Weather will probably bo cold and changeable. Weather clouding over, rain later.. The baronletc-r has a falling tendency.
