The output from Manila for the week was 31,000 bales. : The following are the River Plato shipments received during October, 1912 London, 12,323 mutton, 20,548 lamb; Liverpool, 113,040 mutton, 13,789 lamb; Cardiff, 2000 mutton, nil lamb; Newcastle, 8000 mutton, ffil lamb; totals, 247,073 mutton, 39,327 lamb. The totals for October, 1911, were 216,320 mutton and 56,719 lamb. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. have received the following cablegram from their London house, • under date November 1: “Frozen Meat.—The market is slightly weaker for mutton. There is less enquiry for lamb, and the market is very weak for beef.”
