At the rifle shooting meeting Linn (New Smith Wales) won tin 1 bydney trophy with a grand aggregate in the five matches of 232. Dabrou, of the Charlton Club, got ten consecutive bull’s-eyes at the 70J yards’ range. Continuing, lie secured ten more consecutive bulls, which is a world record. SWIMMING.
The Eltliam Club’s record for the year is considered satisfactory, in spite of the inclement weather experienced. The balance-sheet showed total receipts amounting to £ls 6s 2d, including £4 2s balance, brought forward, and £5 8s 2d receipts from carnivals, and expenditure £lO 7s 9d, including £6 10s for gas instalment and £2 7s 3d tickets levy, thus leaving a credit balance of £4 18s Gd. A club lias been formed at Patea, with Mr. P, Tinnoy as captain, and Air. W. Spooner to carry out the see retrial duties.
