DISASTER AT BROKEN HILL
MEN BURIED IN A FILLING. I Sydney, October 30. Four men were engaged in timbering at the 500 ft. level in the Broken Hill Proprietary Mine, when the filling collapsed. Three of the men— Heydon, Fraser and Martin—were buried, and the fourth was injured. Tim work of recovering the bodies (which is dangerous) is proceeding.
