o RETURN OF THE CADETS. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, October 23. The New Zealand Cadets returned by the Zealandia to-day. Escorted by 700 to 800 local cadets, headed by the Regimental Band, they marched to the Town Hall, where they were accorded a civic welcome amid a scene of great enthusiasm. The Mayor (Mr C. J. Parr', welcomed the lads who had done such valiant things across the sea, and said the boys had been the guests of the Canadian Government and Intel been treated handsomely.
