The Tramway Union to-day decided by a large majority to secede from the Federation .of Labour. T’he result of is thought.-to be partly <|ue to the hostile demonstration against the tramwaymen on the recent occasion of the 24 hours’ strike, in which| they declined to participate. The treatment accorded them roused their indignation, and doubtless weighed in the balance at to-day’s ballot.
