Italy accepts as similar condition for the Caliphates to have authority in Libya as was granted by the Austrian treaty of Bosna. Turkey guarantees the good administration of the Agean Islands and Italy is left to pacify the Arabs in the Hinterland and pays Turkey an annual sum to reimburse the Ottoman debt, now guaranteed by Libyan revenues. No indemnity is to be paid on either side.
