STRAINED RELATIONS.
KAISER AND CROWN PRINCE. London, September 29. The . relations between the German Emperor and the Crown Prince are decidedly strained just now, as in- ■ deed they have been for some time past. In giving publicity to the scandal one of the Berlin dailies, the Tageblatt, declares that the Kaiser and j his son and heir hardly ever speak to | each other. They do not even corren- | pond with each other, any communij cation that one may have to make to the other being made through the medium of Court officials.
j A]l the trouble has been brought ■ about by Prince Frederick's choice of companions, of whom his august father does not approve. The'last occasion on which the Kaiser emphasised his displeasure at the conduct of the Prince was when lie declined to attend the festivities held in honour of the latter’s birthday.
