HAWKE’S BAY JOCKEY CLUB. (Per Press dissociation.) Hastings, October 2. The weather is beautifully fine for the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club’s spring meeting. The course is slightly heavy as the result of heavy rain last night, but there is a large attendance. Results : Tomoana Hack. —Otatara 1, Sleacombe 2, Faunus 3. Won by two lengths. Time, 3.1. Scratched: Yarrowman and Tupaea. Maiden Hack.—Hinemanu 1, Manakau 2, Kinbombi 3. Scratched: St. Elm, Hantu and Facsimile. Won by two lengths. Time, 1.30. Flaxmere Hack.—Multiply 1, I)iavolo 2, Merton 3. Scratched: Eocene and Monella. Won by a nose. Time, 1.17.
