WOOL FREIGHTS RAISED.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, October 2. The Evening Post understands that the freight rates for wool to London this season have been fixed at fiveeighths of a penny per pound, which is practically double last year’s rates. Other descriptions of wool are raised in proportion.
