AMUSEMENTS.

TINY TOWN COMING TO STRATFORD. The wonderful little organisation known as Tiny Town, which completed a record of seventeen performances at the large Town Hall, Wellington, last week, will visit Stratford on Wednesday, next, and will give two performances—one in the afternoon and one at night. The amazing little _peoplehave played in all the leading cities of the Commonwealth, and in Sydney alone put up a record of 120 performances. The entertainment given by the midget men and women is one which would be considered excellent if presented by full-grown people. When it is remembered that the heights of the/tiny mites are from 30 to 38 inches the performance is little short of remarkable. Mile. Ilonka, a beautiful Hungarian of 34 inches, is a globe walker and equestrienne performer; Miss Anita is a Avire walker 27 years of age, and small enough to stand on the palm of an ordinary sized man; Miss Isabel Borschkoff is a 33 inch musician, and dancer; Herr Arthur Huhle, a ringmaster of 34' inches; Miss Hansi Andre, a soubrette- who is 38 inches- high, 'and whose, hair sweeps the floor; Mr; Alfonso, a midget strong man, who can carry two big men on his chest; Mr. Pomp'eo, an acrobat; Mr. Fred Sauer, a juggler; Mr. Morello, a wonderful contortionist. Then there is Hayati Hasfcid, the renowned Mayor of Tiny Town, and undoubtedly the smallest man in the .world, who is at the head of the vaudeville section, and David Armstrong, the popular Tiny .Town policeman, whose songs and dances and -rigorous attention to duty in arresting all people liable to step on the midgets causes a heap of fun. The box plans for both performances will be opened at Mr. T. Grubb's to-morrow, and special attention is drawn to the fact that children will* be charged half price to, all parts of the house.
