General Zapata, the Mexican rebel leader, has threatened to kill all Americans in Mexico unless President Madera resigns. General Zapata alleges that President Madero broke the promises made by him when seeking office. He failed to reduce taxes, giving large emoluments to seventy-three relatives and excluding more deserving persons.
