GISBORNE SESSIONS. (Per Press Association.) Gisbornc, September 18. In the Supreme Court Phillip Francis Allpress was sentenced to seven years imprisonment for indecent assault on a boy. His Honor ' said he would direct an examination as to prisonoy's mental condition. NAPIER SESSIONS. Napier, September 18. The hearing of the charge of manslaughter against Matahias Beck was resumed at the Supreme Court to-day. Dr. Veiteh, who made a'post mortem, stated that the body of deceased was extensively bruised and a rib fractured. He did not think the injuries could have been sustained in a fall. The hearing will probably last all day. GISBORNE SESSIONS. DECREES NISI GRANTED. Gisborne, September 18. A decree nisi to be made absolute in three months has been granted in the case Walter John Parkinson, of Opotiki, v. Hilda Parkinson, a husband's petition.
